The General Report provides key insights into various metrics related to user engagement and behavior on your website. It includes information such as unique users, sessions, page views, average session duration, traffic trend, referral sources, traffic sources, and device breakdown.

Unique Users

  • Definition: The number of distinct users that have visited your website at least once during the selected time period. If a user visits your website multiple times, they are only counted once.
  • Calculation: Data collected from user interactions on the website.
  • Trend: Shows the percentage change in unique users compared to the previous period.

Sessions

  • Definition: A session is a single visit to your website. If a user visits your website multiple times, they are counted as a new session each time.
  • Calculation: Data collected from visitor interactions on the website.
  • Trend: Shows the percentage change in sessions compared to the previous period.

Page Views

  • Definition: Page views is the total number of pages viewed. Repeated views of a single page are counted.
  • Trend: Shows the percentage change in page views compared to the previous period.

Average Session Duration

  • Definition: Average session duration is the average length of a session, given in minutes.
  • Trend: Shows the percentage change in average session duration compared to the previous period.
